The San Antonio Food Bank fights hunger across 29 counties in Southwest Texas, distributing millions of pounds of food each year through a network of 500+ partner agencies and its own programs.

Food Distribution & Direct Support

Getting Food Help

- You don’t always need a vehicle—there are walk-up and curbside/distribution options.
- For help locating a distribution or navigating options, call 210-431-8326.
- Some distributions require preregistration; if so, you’ll receive a confirmation code.
Benefits & Assistance Programs
- The Food Bank helps with applying for or renewing SNAP, Medicaid, and other programs.
- You can submit an online e-referral form, and a team member will reach out to assist you.
- By phone, you can reach the benefits assistance team at 210-431-8326 (Monday–Friday 8 AM–6 PM, Saturday 9 AM–3 PM).
- For in-person support, visit the main office Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM (appointments encouraged).
