DESCRIPTION:Event Description\n(Click here to register) On 8 November 2025\, the Riverside Golf Course\, located in San Antonio\, TX\, will host our Capstone fundraising event to benefit the Tri-County Foundation Scholarship. This golf tournament is open to all personnel from the Tri-County area\, as well as those from Dallas to Houston. Our foundation team would consider it an honor if you would participate in our tournament as a golfer or an honorary golfer.\n\n\n\n\nThe foundation benefits students enrolled at colleges and universities in the local area. Your contribution will provide critical support to local students and their families who have a legitimate financial need for education. Because of your generosity\, the endowment can continue to invest in worthy young scholars who\, despite economic constraints\, are already having a positive impact in our very own community. It would be an honor if you could partner with us and become a Friendship Sponsor\, helping to provide much-needed financial assistance to our local young men and women pursuing higher education. If you are interested in any of our other sponsor package options\, they are provided on the back of this page. If you decide to donate as an honorary golfer\, for every gift of $100\, you can become an honorary golfer. In recognition of your gift\, we will have one of our golfers play a ball in your honor. SUMMARY:Tri-County Friendship Foundation 2026 Scholarship Program
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the Tri-County Friendship Foundation Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students pursuing higher education who reside in Bexar\, Comal\, and Guadalupe Counties. The program is designed to support academic advancement while recognizing perseverance\, community involvement\, and the potential to contribute positively to the Tri-County region. Through this initiative\, the Foundation invests in students whose educational goals align with strengthening the communities we serve. \nEligible applicants include high school seniors and current college students who reside in Bexar\, Comal\, or Guadalupe Counties and are pursuing higher education at an accredited institution. Additional consideration may be given to applicants who demonstrate meaningful community involvement or service\, sustained academic commitment and perseverance\, and alignment with the mission and values of the Tri-County Friendship Foundation. \nThe application period for the 2026 scholarship cycle runs from January 2026 through March 31\, 2026. Applications are currently open and must be submitted by March 31\, 2026. The review process will take place in April 2026\, with scholarship recipients notified no later than May 2026. \nApplications are submitted online through the Tri-County Friendship Foundation’s official scholarship portal. All required supporting documentation is uploaded securely as part of the application process. In-person submissions are not required unless explicitly requested by the Foundation. \nThe Tri-County Friendship Foundation believes that education strengthens communities. This scholarship program exists to reduce financial barriers to higher education\, recognize student resilience\, effort\, and potential\, and invest in future leaders who will positively impact the Tri-County region. This initiative represents not only financial assistance but also a long-term investment in people and community development. \nTo apply\, applicants must complete the online scholarship application\, which includes basic personal and academic information\, a written essay responding to a program prompt\, and submission of required supporting documents such as transcripts and recommendations\, as applicable. All applications are evaluated using a standardized review process to ensure fairness and consistency. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
